Leila

This little one came into the world and it was so wonderful to capture her first photographs. She was wide awake for the start of our shoot. With newborns its a 50/50 chance if they are super sleepy or very alert. Miss Leila gave us a little of both. By the end of the shoot she was fast asleep...and such a sweetheart! Also a little shot out to their dog- who joined us for several photos and was a great boy!

Carter

This little guy was just mastering walking. It's a challenging age to photograph- they are on the move and don't really want to be still. There's a lot of chasing, redirecting, and distracting. In the end we got some great shots... he is a sweetie and I had a lot of fun getting down to his level and capturing the moment.

the Ciecior Family

This family is from Colorado, but they have family out here in San Diego, and they were referred to be by a previous wedding client of mine. We had actually been trying to coordinate a shoot for over a year- so happy it finally worked out. Their adorable son, Warren, was not so sure about me in the beginning but by the end I had won him over. We got some great shots!!

the Buday family

Oh my goodness! So much catching up to do! The end of the year flew by with my wedding in November... and now some serious catching up of some amazing photos!!

To start the Buday family... they're were expecting their first little one and I was delighted to be asked to take their photos. Laura was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed several years ago. So glad she reached out to me.
They live up in San Clemente, we took the photos near the pier up there. It was a very hazy gray day and we almost postponed the shoot... but as I was driving up there I thought there was a chance the light could actually turn out really cool. They were down to take a risk- and it paid off! Beautiful couple and beautiful light made for some excellent photos!!!

Enjoy!
