Emma is 6 months old!

Actually she's almost a year old now! We took these photos a few months ago... but I've been so busy with kid shoots and weddings I'm still playing catch up! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

First of she is so cute and it's so lovely to be able to follow a client through the 1st year of life... I love seeing their little face emerge out of the newborn phase and into a little person. She was too sweet and happy and up for almost anything! It was a beautiful day and she was a joy to photograph! Looking forward to her 1 year shoot-- seeing her walking!!!!

Creel Family Shoot

Carlsbad, CA

This is one of my favorite families to shoot. I photographed Candis and Michael's wedding many years ago and have watched them grow as a couple and now into a beautiful family. They live in Arizona, so I don't see them often- but they do visit San Diego, almost yearly and we catch up. This year they were staying in Carlsbad, which was great! I was hoping to have a shoot up there one day soon as I had recently noticed all the colors and art on the streets. Their kids love the camera and were excellent the entire shoot. We ended down on the beach where Nixon went in the ocean for the first time (to his knowledge) and he got wet and didn't care! There were so many favs- it was hard to pick only a few... but here are the highlights!

Samuel Cappello Windridge

Born June 12th, 2014. A cute new addition to the Windridge family! We had a lovely little shoot with the lil guy- while his big sister was at school... so unfortunately she is missing from the photos! I will catch them together one of these days! He is an excellent sleeper and SUPER adorable. We used the same pink bunny that was in the newborn photos of his sister... major difference is that he liked to high kick for these shots! He might be a soccer star one day! These are some of my favs... ENJOY!

Ava and Wes

I photographed Ava for the first time about a year ago during an East Coast Tiny Elephants Mini Session. She has grown up so much and still as cute as can be! This time her adorable little brother joined in the fun. He was too much-- such big smiles. Once Ava got into the groove her smile  was just a beautiful! Such wonderful kids!!
