East Coast Migration - Dowd Family Shoot

Newport, RI

This is the final East Coast migration shoot post... such a fun time taking these photos this year! Looking forward to doing it again next year!

The Dowd family was so fun to take family photos of. We kind of combined a few different types of shoots this day to capture all the moments. A little new baby shoot for the youngest Dowd, Carson. And then some nice portraits of the oldest kiddos, some family photos and even some shots of just mom and dad. Everyone was in a great mood, ready for photos, and to top it off the weather was perfect! They are such a cute family and doted over little Carson through out the shoot! You could see how excited they were to have the newest addition to their family.

Enjoy some highlights!

Nora Denise

East Coast Migration - Newborn Shoot-

Sweet little Nora is my cousins news member to his family. She is the welcomed little sister to big brother Sean and she is adorable. I saw a family resemblance in Nora and my cousin's grandmother, which I find so amazing.  I love when you can see older generations in children. She is truly a little sweetheart and was  perfect in front of the camera. Sean was also super sweet with her and I think he will do a good job of looking out for her from now on. Please enjoy my favorites...

Shout to 2nd cousins with this last photo!

East Coast Migration- Weston

Newport, RI

Weston is adorable! He was just starting to stand on his own and balance on two feet. Such a fun time- right before they learn to walk and can't be stopped! We went to a park and Fort Adams. When kiddos are under 3, you have to work around nap time first, then daylight. So we shot mid day and looked for some shade. Nerissa said getting him to smile would be a challenge, which is was, but I think I managed to capture his sweetness once he warmed up to me- that and his mom put the smile on his face! I felt like in all the photos he was just observing and thinking. I love his expressions, you see his kindness in them... Just like his momma!!

These are my favs... ENJOY!

East Coast Migration- Jameson

Stonington, CT

I photographed Heather and  James wedding 4 years ago- I can't believe it's been 4 years!  Now they have welcomed a beautiful little boy into their lives. I feel so lucky that they asked me to continue taking photos of the life milestones and I got to meet Jameson. He was adorable! Heather also brought along her baby quilt which I thought was so sweet. He is a wonderful kiddo- absolutely adorable! I can't wait to watch him grow through my lens. These are the highlights!

Enjoy!

East Coast Migration Shoots.... The CURRAN GIRLS!

Stonington, Connecticut

Ok! It's time to start sharing all the great photos that I got to take during the 3rd annual East Coast Migration. I will be starting things off with the Currans. These sisters were great! We met up in Stonington Borough to take photos, knowing the girls we over 3, I thought it would be fun to walk around the Borough,  pop in and out of doorways, cool colored/textured walls. The scenery and the girls did not disappoint! It was a great shoot! Here are some of my favs!

Of course their beautiful Mother had to be a in a few pics - Always a must!

I love this last one.. big sister asking little sister to do something...

Emma is 6 months old!

San Diego, CA

Actually she's almost a year old now! We took these photos a few months ago... but I've been so busy with kid shoots and weddings I'm still playing catch up! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

First of she is so cute and it's so lovely to be able to follow a client through the 1st year of life... I love seeing their little face emerge out of the newborn phase and into a little person. She was too sweet and happy and up for almost anything! It was a beautiful day and she was a joy to photograph! Looking forward to her 1 year shoot-- seeing her walking!!!!

Enjoy!!
